Is the Bacon Wrap Worth It?
Absolutely — it's the best dollar item Cook Out makes, and I've been ordering them in pairs for over a decade. The bacon is actual crispy bacon (not bacon bits), the ranch is the Hidden Valley-style you'd expect, and the tortilla is fresh enough not to taste like a warmed gas station wrap. The portion is small, so plan on two if it's your meal, or one as an add-on to a Tray. A common regular's order: Big Double Burger Tray + add one Bacon Ranch Wrap = $5.98, a complete oversized meal under $6. The wrap is the single best "add-on" item on the menu.
Where it falls short: the bacon-to-everything-else ratio is generous on some locations and skimpy on others. The ranch can be heavy-handed, so if you don't love ranch, ask for light. There's not enough vegetable to call this a "wrap" in the salad sense — it's a bacon delivery vehicle, and that's fine.
